Gerry Duffy came to prominence in 2010 when along with a friend Ken Whitelaw, he ran 32 marathons in 32 days and in the process helped to raise over €500,000 for Irish Charities. That feat was achievement enough in itself, but when you consider that five years previously he was a heavily overweight smoker.
He has since become a bestselling author on motivation and goal setti8ng and speaks regularly to business groups. He has spoken to and presented workshops at some of Ireland’s leading companies. The Sales Master Minders group in Galway had Gerry speaking at their most recent monthly meeting at the Clayton Hotel
Gerry Duffy shared his philosophy with the group pointing out that knowledge is “80% learned from other human beings”. He encouraged the attendees to “ask more of yourself”, create a bucket list and “distil it down” “Achievement is relative to the individual”.
